If you are a Chrome user then you might know about the sign in to Chrome feature that has been available in the latests versions of the browser. If not then I will present for you this feature and tell you all about the advantages it offers.
Chrome sign in gives you the possibility to sync all of your browser related stuff among computers. In fact, the sign in to Chrome functionality uploads all of your browser’s bookmarks, settings, Chrome Apps and even extensions onto your Google account.
What does this mean? If you sign in to Chrome from another computer you will have the same bookmarks, browser settings, Chrome apps and even extensions available.
In other words you no longer have to worry about manually carrying around your bookmarks in an export file or manually setting up the bookmarks on multiple computers. You just need to log into Chrome and then the Google world will be right on your fingertips.
The sign in to Chrome functionality is even more useful if you use it from your mobile phone’s Chrome browser. You will then have all of your settings (including your bookmarks) right on your mobile device at any given time.
To sign in to Chrome you need to open your Chrome settings and from there choose the Connect to Chrome option. This will then take you to sign-in screen where you have to give your Google account email address and password. Once signed in, you will be able to choose which components you want to sync across computers, even Chrome themes and open browser tabs.
For example, I have organised all of my bookmarks across folders, which I now have available on whichever computer that I use and has Chrome.
Overall, I think this is a very useful functionality/feature of Chrome browser that increases the browser’s usability and overall value.
