STB Emulator or Set-Top-Box Emulator for Android is an application that can be used to emulate the functionality of a Set-Top-Box.
Specifically, you can use this emulator to emulate the functionality of quite a few boxes, including the MAG boxes made by Infomir.
You can install the emulator on your Android box by downloading the application directly from Google Play. Once you do that you need to install the application and configure it with your pre-existing IPTV settings. To be honest, there are many settings in the emulator app so you must be kind of familiar with IPTV settings to know what you are doing.
Once you configure the application, you can run it and you will immediately see the emulator loading and along with it will come all the channels you would otherwise see in your live IPTV box.
The STB Emulator has a setting for allocating key maps which you can use for allocating functions to specific keys on your Android remote or keyboard. This is quite similar to the key maps you use in Kodi and can be very useful to make the emulator application more user-friendly for everyday use.
If your IPTV provider also has EPG then you will see this in the emulator as well. The EPG behaves pretty much in the same manner as it would if you were using a real STB.
Overall, this is a nice little app that you can use for watching IPTV without having to buy a dedicated box and instead use your existing Android device.
